Happy New Year!!!

I have been ignoring blogging for a while. I have been in survival mode, however I know that I always feel better when I blog so I am going to do it more often. But I wanted to share a Lindsay funny with you.

I have been cleaning out closets and I always wash the clothes I am packing away before I pack them away. It creates more laundry, but that is just the way that I do it. So, I had a HUGE pile of laundry in the laundry room for days. It was taking me forever to get through the pile. One evening I finally got through the entire pile and the laundry room was picked up. (This has been an ongoing project since before Christmas) Late that night Lindsay woke up and I asked her to take 2 shirts down the to laundry room and put them in the dirty clothes. About 5 minutes later she came upstairs with a confused look on her face. She says, "Mommy the laundry room is so clean I can't find the dirty clothes!" I thought that was hysterical. Now I know the project took much to long if my child now cannot find the hamper, because she is so use to throwing her clothes on the heap in the laundry room.

Since then, she has been able to find the hamper in the laundry room. GOOFY CHILD!

Today is Coppelia Auditions. We could have 550 dancers for this production. (Our norm is 140ish). Brandi and I are going to have our work cut out for us, but we both enjoy it so much and watching the kids have so much fun validates the fruit of our labors. (And that is A LOT of labor)

I am also getting my hair cut tonight. I am turning my aunt loose on my hair. So we will see what she does. I am excited. :) I will update more later.

GOod Luck the hair cut.

I swear there was a laundry room floor here when we moved in but somehow it has become lost. I search and search but don't ever seem able to find it. Bravo to you that you found yours =)
Hampers, now that is an idea!

btw, i am adpoting your "ten things a day list" but am starting with babysteps and beginning with only 5. These things will not be my normal activites with house stuff or kids stuff but rather the extra pile of stuff and forms and filing and errands that pile up in the corner waiting for me to find the extra time to complete.
I like it.... I will give it a go!
wish me luck LOL
