Discover Camp 2009

I cannot write and do justice to the how amazing Discover Camp was this year. Janet and the amazing people of Columbia, Kentucky and the Columbia Baptist Church were wonderful to us. We had a week of living in a bubble.

We love you all!

From the past....

I have been thinking about how much I have changed in the last 7.5 years. I was scrolling through the blog and I found this post. I posted that in January 2007. To think about that, the words Chiari Malformation, Pseudotumor Cerebri/Intracranial Hypertension, Dysautonomia and Shunts had not even entered our vocabulary except for a rare passing conversation.

I want to be the coffee bean......

If its not one shunt, its the other... ;)

For the past few weeks we have been having some issues with Lindsay's shunt. It all started just before Gabe's surgery and has continued. Lindsay is exhibiting symptoms of high pressure. We have done everything that we know to do and nothing has helped. Dr. Frim has been notified and he is going to try to get her into clinic on Thursday. I hope so since we are leaving for Camp on Saturday and it would be nice to rule out that there is anything wrong before we leave. :)

I get one sleeping through the night and then the other one stops. Tis so much fun. :)
