Over due....

This blog entry is well past over due.

Wendi,

I just wanted to tell you THANK YOU! You may never know it, but somehow your random thinking of you cards and cards so support just happen to be delivered just when I need it. Friday April 4th was a rough day. We had gotten a new diagnosis for Gabe, I was horribly ill, tired of being in the hospital and basically I wanted to come home and lie in the fetal position and beg for mercy for someone to come and put me out of my misery. When I got the mail when we arrived home from the hospital there was a very nice card in the mail. I was at one of my lowest points that I have been at for a long time, and what you said in your card gave me the ability to pull myself up by my boot straps and keep on going.

I was not having a pity party, I do not allow myself the time to do that. It was just a moment of frustration. A moment of worry about what the future holds for my children. I was just tired of being "on" all the time.

I know that I do not tell you enough, but THANK YOU! Thank you for thinking of me and letting me know that you are. Someone we are connected and you just KNOW when I need a pick me up and *I* appreciate that.

For those of you who do not know who Wendi is, she is a lady that I just happened to "meet" on a message board. We were due with babies at the same time, but of course we both went early. Wendi and I have never had the privilege of meeting in person (though one day we will). Wendi's husband went through a motorcycle accident similar to my step dads and she walked that journey with such grace and strength. She is just an awesome person.

So, Wendi...THANK YOU! Your actions mean more to me than you will ever know!

Much Love,
Michelle

How sweet is she? Who am I kidding, I know! I'm glad your day was brightened by her card.

I'm sorry your family is on such a hard road! I think of you all often and wish there was something I could do to help.
