January 22-January 28, 2006

This has been a pretty eventful week. Sunday the 22nd we celebrated the Twins 4th Birtday. It was a huge event and many of our loved ones attended.

Monday Gabe and Lindsay-becca attended dance. They are taking a preballet/tumbling class. They are having a great time. Darren and I decided to go ahead and let them participate in the recital. This should be a riot. There is a reason they do not let the parents attend class all the time. It is called the humilation factor. It is very humbling when your nearly 4 year old has no coordination and cannot skip. Their First Class (1/16) I thought that my mom and I were going to pee out pants laughing. There is a little girl in the class who likes ot pick on Gabe because he is in a "girls" class. (The class is a unisexed class, Gabe is just the only boy) This said little girl and her mom suck. The little girl and her mom have been warned with one more comment and the little girl will not be in class anymore. Lindsay-becca is just a princess. There is no other way to describe what she is. Princess pretty much encompasses it all. We had foam tiara as party favors for the girls. Well, I cannot get Lindsay-becca's off her except for bedtime. I had a battle the first few days and finally had to tell her that I was afraid that she would strangle herself. (This tiara has a band along the back to keep it on her head) Death by Tiara. ;)

Darren and I purchased Leapsters for the kids for their birthday. Can I just say. THANK YOU KRISTIN!!! These are the best things ever. THe kids play them quietly and we have no more fights in the car. Well, except when Hannah wants to play with them and the twins will not let her. I see a new purchase in Hannah's future. They also got the word Whammer from my mom for their birthday. Lets just say this....I AM IN LETTER HELL!!!!

Gabe is obsessed with letters and words. "Mom what does this word make? Mom this says MOM. M---O----M. Dad is spelled D---A---D. Lindsay... L-I-N-D-S-A-Y. Gabe is G--A--B--SILENT E" I have words spelled along my living room floor. He really is obsessed and there is no curing that obsession. Maybe Luvox will help that. ;)

Lindsay is as I said a princess. She wears the Tiara. Has PRINCESS gowns to wear to bed. They are NOT night gown. *GASP IN HORROR* They are Gowns....Princesses wear gowns. She has the glass slippers, the septers, bracelets, earrings, watch, anything a Princess needs the Princess has. It is sweet justice when her sweet little self comes screaming thru the dining room that something has been done to her (unjustly of course) and she hits the tile and SMACK she falls down. I of course bite back my laughter, "Honey are you okay?" She jumps up and regains her dignity and says, "But of course I am. But my bottom hurts." Then she is kind enough to tell me, "Mom, you need to clean the floor that is why I fell." To which I reply, "Are you suppose to be running and screaming thru the house?" I get the attitude, "NO. And I KNOW....When I do not listen to you I get HURT!" I just smile a fake smile.

Truely she is not THAT bad. She is just very vocal and certain of who she is. LOL

Hannah, she would be our resident nudist. She is very comfortable in her comfortable state of undress. To be THAT comfortable... She is great. She has now taken to sleeping nude. Darren and I pray everynight that we do not have a house fire. Below freezing and our sweet 2 year old out streaking the subdivision. A couple weeks ago she was watching Sunday Night TV with Darren and I and she saw a commercial for the Miss America Pagent. She gasped and pointed. "Mommy look!!! The Barbies....They are singing and Dancing!!!" LOL

Fayeth, she is a love. She is really a good baby. She is being assessed by first steps for some possibly developmental delays. Nothing major. In the last 2 weeks she has really started to make some amazing progress. She gets assessed on Wednesday and they just might laugh in my face. LOL

I have made the switch to Cloth Diapers. Thank you to Molly who has given me quite a few to try and see which ones I like. They really are simple to use. However, I will admit that I had a few mishaps. Friday I went to the grocery store. I was wearing a black shirt which for some odd reason my children think a black shirt equals Kleenex. So I have fayeth in the sling, I am in the checkout, the 3 angels are sitting on the bench and all of a sudden I feel something warm dribbling down my side. (YES Susan SHE HAD A DIAPER ON!!!-that is a story for another day) The young teenage carry out boy who was talking about his date with this "hot chick" looks at me and says, "Ma'am, there is something leaking on your shirt." Okay, here I am, black tee shirt on, blackwindbreaker pants, red valentines socks and my tennis shoes...I am #1 reason for what not to wear. Hell, I am not ever sure that I had brushed my hair that day. But I am thinking, I am old enough to be a Ma'am. You little shit I am only like 15 years older than you. I am NOT OLD enough to be a Ma'am. To which I replied, "Yes that is Pee. Baby pee, out of a baby diaper. This spot here, this is baby puke and this is baby snot. This would be toddler snot. Think of this while you are making out with your hot chick on your date tonight."

The sight of pure HORROR that came over his face was priceless. As he was wheeling my grocery out to my car I said, They sell things at CVS that will help prevent STDs and CHILDREN and I winked at him. The kid was so red in the face it was great. I completely probably ruined his date. That will teach him...DO NOT CALL ME MA'AM!!! ;)

Also bragging for Fayeth. She has learned how to get from lying to sitting all on her own. Granted she has only done it once, but still...WOOHOO!! GO baby!!!
